Participation needed for Usability of Easy Squeezy

by | Jun 24, 2024 | Asthma, Research

ATTENTION ASTHMA PARENTS!!

If your child is between the age of 5 to 12 years and suffering from asthma, then Impulse Biomedical would appreciate your participation to test the Usability of Easy Squeezy.

ABOUT EASY SQUEEZY:

Easy Squeezy is an assistive device that allows an asthmatic child, between the age of 5 to12, to activate their inhaler independently. The Easy Squeezy has friendly animated characters attached to it in-order to combat the stigma in carrying an asthma inhaler by a child.

ABOUT THE USABILITY TEST:

If you consent to participate in this Usability Test you will be asked to assemble and use the Easy Squeezy with a placebo inhaler.

  • No medication will be delivered during this Usability Test.
  • You and your child will have to answer a few questions that capture your experience of using the Easy Squeezy.
  • The Usability Test will be concluded within an hour.

LOCATION AND RENUMERATION:

The Usability Test will take place at Impulse Biomedical Office located at Unit 403, The Armoury Building, Buchanan Square, 160 Sir Lowry Road, Woodstock, Cape Town.

To book your appointments and gather further information for the Usability Test please call 021 300 0261 or email usability@impulsebiomedical.com.

We will conduct the Usability Test for the first 15 participants who contacts us, and they will be compensated with a total of R150 for their travels and time.
