The Easy Squeezy for Asthma Sufferers
This new device is called the “Easy Squeezy” it is an attachment sleeve that fits over a standard inhaler which reduces the force required to activate it by about two-thirds, making it manageable for most children and elderly. The head of the division of asthma and allergy at UCT and AFSA CEO, Prof Mike Levin, said the idea came from watching his patients and daughter having difficulty using their pumps, making it manageable for most children and elderly asthma sufferers.
