Live Events
Our 1-hour LIVE events provide an online platform for experts to share information, build community, and answer patient questions during and after the event. Events are streamed to Facebook and YouTube, helping us reach patients and caregivers across South Africa and beyond. These events raise awareness of allergic disease and its real impact on individuals and families, helping to dispel misconceptions and myths around allergic disease. Patients and caregivers are encouraged to submit their questions before the LIVE event, with additional questions answered throughout the session, creating an interactive and supportive learning environment.

Atopic eczema is often seen as “just a skin condition”, but for many people, the burden goes much deeper. It can affect sleep, confidence, school, work, relationships, mental wellbeing, family life and the daily cost of care. Join Dr Suretha Kannenberg, Dermatologist, and Eczema patient Eva, LIVE as they unpack World Atopic Eczema Day 2026 and the campaign theme #BreakTheInvisibleBurden. This session will explain the hidden physical, emotional, social and financial impact of atopic eczema, why it is often misunderstood, and why better recognition, support and care matter. If you or your child are living with atopic eczema, this LIVE event will offer trusted information, practical guidance and helpful answers from medical experts.
