We are happy to announce that the 2026 Bola Awotedu Training Fellowship application process is now open. This Fellowship facilitates the development of allergy skills by training additional qualified professionals in an underserved region in South Africa. All candidates must follow the application criteria and submit applications with supporting documents to training@allergyfoundation.co.za. Applications close on 17 July 2026. The successful applicant will be announced on 31 July 2026.
About Bola Awotedu
Professor Abolade Awotedu was a respected pulmonologist who spent much of his life working in the Eastern Cape. He passed away on the 26th of July 2017. His family and friends have raised funds for this scholarship in his name, to allow young professionals from rural areas of the country to access training that will allow them to continue the types of educational and service programs that Prof Awotedu was so passionate about.
